What do I need in order to rent a unit?

You’ll need a valid driver’s license or state issued Identification card, a completed rental agreement and about 10 minutes of your time.

How do I rent a storage unit?

You can come to our main office during office hours of 9:00 am– 1:00 pm Monday thru Friday.  If that isn’t convenient, call us and we can set up an appointment for any time between 2:00 pm and 5:00pm at the facility of your choice.

How can I pay for my Storage unit?

You can pay via cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.
During office hours, you can call in a credit or debit card payment. 

We offer online bill payment, Automatic Payments via credit or Debit card.
If you would like to drop off your payment after hours, there is a payment receptacle, a white mailbox on a post, outside our main office. It is located to the left of the main entry door in the parking area. Simply make sure your payment is labeled with your name and storage unit number. There are envelopes inside the box for you to use.

When I’m all done with my unit, what do I need to do?

Remove contents from unit– NOTHING may be left behind. You will be charged to remove any items left be-hind ($50 and up).
Sweep unit clean of debris. Place lock and key set, include all keys, on the floor on the inside of the unit and close the door.

Call us at 303-567-4085 and let us know your unit has been vacated.
Failure to remove lock from door and notify Mountain Mini Storage that you are out of your unit will result in further rent charges.

Your unit should be large enough so that contents are not stacked to the celling and so that you can maneuver within your unit without toppling things over.

03×04 This space is great for skis, boots, a tent, or hanging your bike vertically. Perfect for boxes of Holiday decorations. About the same size as a broom closet.
05×05  This space is great for storing boxes, old tax files, and other small items. Old children’s clothing, toys. About the same size as a hall closet.
04×10 This space would be perfect for skis, snowboard, poles or your camping gear in the winter, when you’re using your snow equipment! About the same size as a hallway closet.
05×10 This space will the contents of a small studio apartment with out appliances. It can accommodate a king sized mattress, dresser, chairs, a couch and additional boxes of household items. Good space to store patio furniture, bikes, About the same size as a hallway closet.
08×10 Enough space to store the contents of a medium, one bedroom apartment with appliances. Perfect to store all your outdoor furniture and gardening supplies between seasons. Larger than a walk in closet. Steel container units and traditional storage units.
10×10 Store enough furniture to fill a two bedroom apartment, beds, tables, chairs, sofa, dresser, bookcase, small boxes, and other items tucked into spaces. About the same size as a small bedroom or home office.
10×15 The contents of a two bedroom home, including appliances will fit with ease in this size. A very small vehicle will also be right at home. This unit is great for staging your home while you are in the process of selling, great for storing about 300 standard sized file boxes, or storing your trailered four-wheelers or snowmobiles. About the same size as a medium to large bedroom.
08×20 A bit bigger than the 10×15 space, you can fit three to four rooms of furniture, boxes, sports equipment, including your bikes About the same size as a narrow 1 car garage.
10×20 This size will accommodate the contents of a three or four bedroom home with all appliances or a compact vehicle, snowmobile trailer, or boat. There will still be enough space to store some household items as well. This size is great for storing construction materials as well. About the same size as a standard attached one car garage.
10×25  This size will hold the contents of a one bedroom apartment with appliances along with a compact car. Store all your belongings from your home while you renovate, go on an extended vacation, or wait to have a home built. Store a car or boat in this space, with room to spare. Store business goods here: tires, inventory, and more. The same width as a one car garage with enough space to store a compact car and household items.
10×30 Will hold the contents of a four or five bedroom house including all appliances. A compact car, boat, utility trailer or around 550 boxes (standard file boxes). Comparable to a two car garage.
